There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes in the run up to London Fashion Week. Here is a behind the scenes look at the display we unveiled this season. It was created from large blocks of hand dyed perspex, with frosted sections where the rings could be displayed. We also exhbitied colour variations for the stones that could be incorporated into the ring desings, these were set into perspex blocks too!
What an honour to show as part of the British Fashion Council’s Rock Vault at London Fasion Week this February.
Lily Kamper will be showing a new collection of engagement rings as part of the initiative curated by Stephen Webster MBE alongside alongisde Completed Works, Rachel Boston, Shimell & Madden, Daou Jewellery and Frances Wadsworth-Jones.
The new pieces launched in the Rock Vault exhibition space at London Fashion Week at 180 The Strand and will be available online soon.
The collection of five engagement rings are a showcase of geometric architectural structures holding a rainbow of Sapphires, Diamonds and Tourmalines. They will be made bespoke to order so the client will be able to choose their own combination.
It is always a special thing to make an engagement ring for someone you love too…and what a treat it was to create this surprise bespoke rainbow ring. Featuring saphires in every colour, the central pink sapphire was hand selected with the wonderful wearer in mind.
We were also so happy to see this ring in the New York Observer as one of 27 engagement rings you haven’t seen before!
So much rainbow joy!
